1992-03-29, Pasadena CA. While I grew up loving the space program from early childhood, I wasn’t really into Trek in the 60’s. In fact, I probably didn’t really pay attention until I caught the series as afternoon reruns, watching it in the top-floor lounge of my LMU dorm in 1976. But I got hooked when TNG (The Next Generation) came on the air in the late 1980s. It turned out that my TNG fandom was something I had in common with the lovely Denise Valverde. Apologies for the poor quality of these images. I was taking the pictures from across the room and this was before they’d discovered the magic of projecting video of the speakers on giant screens so everyone one could have a great view. Enjoy.
