2023-12-21. Yesterday’s short wet adventure began at the left side of the map, near Kapalua Bay. Today’s longer walk began in the middle of the map, near Oneloa Bay, heading West on the map toward the rocky points in the upper left corner of the map. First part of the walk was along a nice boardwalk with the water to the right and homes up the hills to the left. We then left the paved boardwalk for a dirt path that snaked about and eventually led us to a craggy perch to watch the waves hit the rocks. There were sections of the walk over uneven surfaces that made me think of the Police song, “Walking on the Moon,” and that I should be able to do this, given I’d submitted an application to become a NASA astronaut a couple years ago (they declined the offer… damn). Another day, another adventure.

I forgot to set my walk.app when I started today, so it only registered 3,759 steps. Today’s walk seemed a lot longer than yesterday’s walk (4,713 steps), so I’m guessing forgetting to set the app until we were well into the walk explains the difference. Ack.
