2023-12-13. I began the day doing a little writing in this beautiful patio at the back of the house and then we went to walk the dog. It was a huge step up from the walk we took the yesterday afternoon. We went down a path in Kapalua with the Honokahua Bay on one side and Oneloa Bay on the other side and Moloka’i across the water in front of us. On the Honokahua Bay side was a stretch called the Dragon’s Teeth and in the middle of the area was an arranged rock structure called the Labyrinth. I was a good workout for my feet with all of the uneven surfaces and climbing over rocks. We only walked about .81 of a mile (I remembered to set my watch this time!) but enough climbing that my thighs really felt it. Today we did 4,631 steps. Enjoy.

I’m still thinking about how I want to share these images, because a simple image didn’t seem to be enough. Besides shooting several videos, I shot “Live” images, which are 4-second clips with sound that can be exported as simple stills, short 4-second videos or silent animated GIFs. We’ll see how this turns out…

At the end of the day we enjoyed a Pizza and other goodies at Dollie’s Pub & Cafe. I think I also found my island beer of choice, Maui Brewings Big Swell IPA. Happy boy.
